Aussie Pacer Nathan Ellis Makes The World Record by Scoring a Hat-trick in His Debut Match

Nathan Ellis didn't know until the last over that such a day was waiting for him! The pacer, who made his debut today, was wicketless with 29 runs in the first three overs. Fate came in the last over. Bangladesh was also in a hurry to increase the run. The 26-year-old Australian pacer picked up a hat-trick in his debut and wrote his name in the record book.

Ellis showed such fame in the third T20 of the series in Mirpur today. The right-arm pacer took three wickets off the last three balls of the 20th over of the Bangladesh innings.

Mahmudullah is the first victim of Ellis. He bowled this half-centurion batsman clearly in a great inswinger. Mostafizur Rahman was caught at the boundary after hitting a six off the next ball. Mahedi Hasan was caught in deep square to pull the last ball. As a result, Ellis, who was beaten in the first three overs, finally made history by scoring a hat-trick. This is the first hat-trick of a bowler in his T20I debut.

Ellis owns the 16th hat-trick in T20 history. On the other hand, the fourth hat-trick of any bowler in this format against Bangladesh is today (Friday).
