The Tigers Returned Home with Three Trophies

The Bangladesh cricket team has returned to the country in the guise of a state-winning hero after completing a successful mission in Zimbabwe. Today (Thursday) around 9 am, the national team arrived in the capital Dhaka.

The journey started from Team Hotel to Harare Airport at 4 am on Tuesday (then in Bangladesh at 8 am on Wednesday). Then Johannesburg, South Africa on a domestic flight to Zimbabwe. At the end of the two-hour journey, there was a four-hour break. The Tigers then flew from Johannesburg to Doha on Qatar Airways and arrived in Doha at midnight on Wednesday.

After a few hours break, the team left for Dhaka and arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9 am. Bangladesh team leader Ahmed Sajjadul Alam Bobby spoke to Jago News while sitting on the plane. "We landed at the airport at 9:12 am," said the Tiger team leader.

Tamim Iqbal's side has whitewashed Zimbabwe in a three-match ODI series after winning a one-match Test series led by Mominul Haque. The Tigers then won the three-match T20 series 2-1 under the captaincy of Mahmudullah Riyadh.
